Derrell Walker

Derrell grew up in Washington D.C. As a child he had the privilege of being the son of a local band member - Los Latinos; the band would frequently rehearse in his family's living room.

Derrell has always been interested in the arts. He attended Duke Ellington School of Arts in Georgetown D.C., where he majored in the fine art of painting, sculpting and drawing. He also performed in several theatrical performances while attending Bowie State University. Derrell has a love an appreciation for all genres of music, as long as it makes you feel something. He retired from a career as a professional Firefighter and decided to take on the adventure of becoming a guitarist.
