Jack Goode

Born in San Antonio and raised in Maryland just outside of Washington, D.C. Jack's musical foundation was shaped early by the sounds of R&B, Motown, and Country that constantly filled his parents’ home. Introduced to music through the cornet in elementary school, he performed in several school recitals before eventually teaching himself to play drums, drawn to the instrument’s ability to move people and create energy through rhythm.

His influences span generations and genres, from Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Temptations, and Whitney Houston to His Hop pioneers like LL Cool J and Run-D.M.C. By high school, Go-Go music became a defining inspiration, particularly the hypnotic percussion and driving drum grooves of Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers, Rare Essence, and Junkyard Band. The late drummers Footz of Rare Essence and Heavy One of Junkyard Band especially elevated his passion for drumming and helped shape his identity and style behind the craft.
